When missiles are launched toward Israel, what we publish online can save lives, or help the enemy. Here’s what everyone must remember:

🔴 Do NOT publish videos of live interceptions or direct missile impacts.

- The enemy studies these clips to improve accuracy in the next attack.
- Sharing them puts soldiers and civilians at greater risk.
- Publishing such footage is now illegal in Israel.

�� How to report responsibly:

Instead of exact locations, say for example “a missile struck in the Gush Dan area” or “a missile struck in the Negev area” rather than naming the city or neighborhood.

Example 1: “An Iranian ballistic missile hit a civilian building in the Gush Dan area; 5 people were injured.”

Example 2: “5 Iranian ballistic missiles were intercepted over the Gush Dan area; no one was injured.”

This provides the public with important information without giving Iran valuable targeting data.

IMPORTANT: If you see foreign reporters inside of Israel posting live videos, images, or exact impact details, do NOT share them. Report the post on X as “abusive or harmful” → “directs hate or abuse,” and in note write that it reveals missile impact locations in Israel. You can also notify Israeli police at [email protected] (they will deal with it). Only trust official Israeli outlets (like YNET, N12, WALLA, KAN, ISRAEL HAYOM, JPOST) to know which images and videos are safe to publish.

- Protect our forces.
- Protect civilians.
- Don’t help the enemy aim better.

As an army of well dressed and grossly overpaid DC lawyers will confidently tell you, the 1994 Budapest Memorandum does not OBLIGATE us to come to Ukraine defense because it was not submitted to the Senate for ratification.

That may be so, but the fact remains that we gave our word, and that used to mean something.

Adequately supporting Ukraine would also be defending a nascent liberal democracy and sovereign country against an aggressive authoritarian neighbor, which also used to be part and parcel of our tradition.
