@funakistats Dude is 8 feet tall and shot 42% in the finals. Pillow soft, dirty, and classless. I hope he never gets back to the Finals. OKC out of the West for the next 5 years.
@Pacers Nice job tanking to not have a first round pick. Your franchise is everything that’s wrong with the NBA.
Now I have a finals series to watch. 🖕
@AlertsNova Do we know anything about Nico’s game? All we’ve seen him in is layup lines. He entered the portal and came back, so probably not a lot of programs lining up for him. Does Willard consider him a viable contributor? They seem to be putting a lot of stock in the Italian guy coming.
@_JHokanson Coward. Saw other forwards getting signed and decided he’d change his mind because he’d be pushed for playing time. Proved his word is worth sh*t.
@Jeff_Neiburg Ok why? The only way this makes sense to me is if Willard saw nothing from him all year and told him he’s never going to play at Villanova.
@tommygodinjr Willard said many times last year he had to find a way to get Chris Jeffrey more time. Well….this is one way to do that! I liked what I saw of Jeffrey in limited time, and was probably never 100%.
@tommygodinjr Lindsay’s departure had to be somewhat mutual. I’m guessing he was told he’s already behind Oumiddoch on the depth chart.
Lewis? Sure would love to keep him but he was abysmal in big games, including the postseason where he went 5 for 24 and ZERO FT attempts.
@emma_houghton9 This has all the makings of Willard already has a guy from the portal lined up and told Pierce there’s nowhere for him to play. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was behind Nico on the depth chart. There’s a reason Nico was redshirted.
@MDtheDream@AlertsNova OK let me just say that I certainly want Lewis back. But in the two postseason games he shot 4-22 and had ZERO free throw attempts. So he wasn’t attacking the rim like he did many times earlier in the year. Villanova will survive. Have to trust that Willard can navigate this.
@Jeff_Neiburg So would you agree this was somewhat mutual? I’m sure they have the resources to keep Lindsay if he was a priority.
I love your stuff Jeff. You got a New Yorker to subscribe to the Inquirer just to get your Villanova insight.
Now pls deliver us some good news in the week ahead!

@bydylanjohnson I am not understanding this talk about Lewis in the NBA next year. Ended the season 2-9 against Georgetown, 3-12 against Utah State, and ZERO free throw attempts in both games. That’s not great guard play. I love Lewis, but he needs to come back for at least a year if not more.
@AuburnMBB 0% chance we get in. Zero. This begging/bragging about Auburn’s resumé is an embarrassment to the fans and alumni. Give it up. Home losses to TexasA&M and Ole Miss. Losses at Mississippi and Oklahoma. 16 total losses. Auburn doesn’t deserve it. Every fan with 1/2 a brain knows.
