This is a PR campaign by that American firm @JelaniMK no fuckin doubt about it. First I saw Ugandan accounts then Nigerian then this. ain’t no way it’s organic.
Anyhow answer to your ignorant question:
Our economic fundamentals are still not great. Total factor productivity growth has barely gone past 1% since the 1970s, education is being defunded, and doing business is getting harder for SMEs. Banks are also lending more to the government than to businesses, leaving less credit for the private sector to invest and grow. Even the growth and shiny things we celebrate needs context. In the basic GDP formula, GDP = C + I + G + (X − M), government spending is itself part of GDP, so heavy borrowing and spending can lift GDP without necessarily making the economy more productive.
One may argue that FDI is rising. But we also need to ask what kind of FDI we are attracting. A significant share is being directed into special economic zones where investors enjoy tax breaks and other favourable policies that ordinary Kenyan businesses do not. That can create an uneven playing field. The real test of economic strength is not simply whether GDP or FDI is rising, but whether productivity is improving, businesses can access affordable credit, skills are improving, and local firms can invest, compete and grow without needing a special set of rules.
Hope this helps.
" You cannot go around receiving money from politicians – money we know is dirty – to host events and then call yourself a journalist," – Award-winning investigative journalist John Allan Namu takes issue with podcasters whose fame, he says, has gone to their heads, as they lecture Kenyans while allegedly receiving money from politicians left, right and centre!
And Just like that 30 minutes and our petition had had over 100 endorsement from Kenyans on the street of Nairobi.
Dear @AFCAjax and @FCBayern Kenyans want nothing to do with a high-profile football spectacle...
.. We have enough of our problems, dont be involved.
This is 100% accurate.
The current regime of corrupt Mr Ruto needs to get its priorities in order.
Kenya does not need to spend money to see Bayern or Ajax.
There are more than 10 issues those funds can solve.
Kalonzo must be Warned. The kenya of today is not the kenya of 1997. And he must also be reminded the place he stands as things are today.
He must stop creating the illusion we need him,he needs Linda mwananchi more than they need him. Pretty vishy must stop behaving like Huddah monroe, talking about ‘Kutongozwa’. As of now I dont even think there is any bloc kalonzo commands.
Thats why even kasongo has not bothered Recruiting him and that other wanderer called Wamalwa, even when he was recruiting Raila. So whether hes going to Endorse Sifuna or not,it does not matter, his word has very less weight on the natural state of things. The gods have already spoken
Kalonzos name merely exists as a fading memory of what was,not what is. And Sifuna by all means must not be intimidated to believe he needs the blessings of these kalulus,he has the blessings of kenyans, and the gods
End.
@iMiaSanMia In glad you are seeing this
We would love to see Bayern or arsenal come play in Kenya out of good will....don't be used to sanitiser and evil tyrant so he can score more points and justify elections theft...if you come we shall never forgive you
A lot of people hear “1 billion ah ok” and don’t understand HOW MUCH that is.
[ACTION ASK below]
🇰🇪 KSh 1 BILLION for a football friendly could fund:
💰 500,000 cash payments of KSh 2,000 to vulnerable Kenyans
🏥 One year of stipends for 16,666 community health promoters
Meanwhile, 39.8% of Kenyans live in poverty- over 20 MILLION people.
Nurses and teachers are fighting for better pay, yet Kenya is reportedly considering spending up to KSh 1 BILLION on Bayern Munich vs Ajax.
Who benefits more: struggling Kenyan families or a 90-minute football spectacle?
Kenya 🇰🇪 Today two more accounts who can be addressed for impact.
One is a journalist with close ties to Bayern: @mano_bonke & the other @iMiaSanMia shares the amount the corrupt government cartel pays for sports washing their image to @FCBayern@FCBayernEN@FCBayernDE
