Why is @ScottMorrisonMP ignoring health advice and insisting other states open to NSW once they hit 70-80% vaccination even where other states have not? Why is #SARSCoV2 suddenly something we have to live with. A real kick in the guts to #aussies who have lost everything
@lukeweston 6M represents 70% vaccination. She's focused on it in order to open up her state to the rest of the country again, and in a complete about face to health advice the PM has her back.

How many millions are being collectively lost by small producers. This DDOS highlights the importance of not having all your eggs in one basket.
@LuekGrainger @bkbaguley@MrKRudd Rudd is being dishonest and disingenuous. That shouldn't be a surprise to anyone because those two traits embody his entire political career. Stop trusting Rudd, he isn't a good guy.
@LuekGrainger @bkbaguley@MrKRudd Foxtel is known in Australia as "the home of sports". Sports is the driving force behind foxtel subscription. Awarding the tender to Foxtel and Fetch by extension targets these no market sports to sports lovers to create demand. That's the point.
@LuekGrainger @bkbaguley@MrKRudd By contrast, Foxtel bid on a sports tender that 7 & 9 weren't interested in. Foxtel then sell licencing to Fetch who provide it to millions of Australians through their internet bundle. We're talking about obscure sports here mate. Sports with no market demand or interest.
@LuekGrainger @bkbaguley@MrKRudd 7 & 9 were given taxpayer handouts to do NOTHING. That's the actual big difference. They were given money because they had losses (but still made profit and have lots of reserves). No tender for their handouts because they weren't providing a service
@Kuroiya1@MrKRudd US owned ViacomCBS, the biggest media player in the USA (owned by National Amusements) also got Australian taxpayer handouts. Why? They own channel 10, 10 all access, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central.
@Kuroiya1@MrKRudd Seven Group Holdings, own Westrac the biggest mining equipment dealer on the planet. Coates Hire. ALLIGHTSYKES who create all the generators for aussie power stations, SGH Energy & Beach Energy both of which operate in mining, oil and gas. Plus 7 network, and a bunch of papers
@Kuroiya1@MrKRudd By contrast Nine owns the Nine network, 9Now and subscription service Stan for television. Nine own 2GB, 3AW, 4BC, 6PR, 2UE, 4BH, 6GT and Magic radio stations. Nine own the SMH, The Age, Brisbane Times, WAToday, Financial Review, Sun-Herald, CarAdvice, Pedestrian Group, Domain..
@Kuroiya1@MrKRudd NewsCorp owns a share of Foxtel. It's their only Australian broadcasting presence. They own The Australian. The Telegraph, The Courier Mail, the Herald Sun, The Mercury, NT Bulletin, Goldcoast Bulletin and the Advertiser. They own no radio presence in Australia.
@Kuroiya1@MrKRudd Nine and Seven West aren't owned by Murdoch. NewsCorp is the only Murdoch owned company in Australia. NewsCorps presence in Australia is minimal. Nine holds the biggest market share by far, closely followed by Seven West.
@MrKRudd This is just Kevin Rudd being the disingenuous person he always was, taking any opportunity to attack Newscorp but ignoring the real corruption that Labor supports.
@MrKRudd Grant extensions for a service won previously by tender. Not unusual. Meanwhile, the taxpayer gave a $41 million handout to Nine and Seven West, companies making more than $1Bn annually, that you seem to not care about. Nine is the biggest media player in Australia.
@bkbaguley@MrKRudd This is a weird question to ask. Foxtel previously bid on a tender to broadcast sports that aren't usually broadcast. They won. Then, without a new tender process the government extended additional funding during CoVID-19. Grants were given to Nine and Seven West
