Throw that in alongside the spiralling cost of actually going to games week on week and this is an inevitable consequence of the deep passions which form a huge part of English football’s USP to a global audience.

Everyone has a tipping point, if prices were reduced and availability was made wider, piracy would be far less of an issue but they know that already.
