Yeah that annoyed me as well tbh. Used my phone as a mobile data hotspot to buy and download DOOM & DOOM II, thinking I could play offline. Turn off the hotspot as I don't want to burn through my data plan, and then it's asking me to connect to the internet and log in. Fuck off.
