I am grateful to be with 25 clergy colleagues for the Gathering of Leaders retreat for entrepreneur Episcopalian clergy as we discuss being leaders in a missionary church after Christendom. Hope abounds!!
I go to a water aerobics class at the #YMCA , where I am the only guy and the youngest person. It’s called “WOW,” the women of the water.
On Friday, birds were circling the pool, and one woman screamed upwards at the birds, “get out of here. We’re not dead yet!”
The energy really goes down in a karaoke bar when someone sings “Papa can you hear me” from Yentl after someone sings “You Spin me Right Round Baby” by Dead or Alive. Just sayin’.
During our vestry meeting at the #episcopalchurch I serve on the bayou, I asked what a friend asks on his Facebook page: Where did you see Love today? Best response: I saw Love when I woke up watching my wife skin the deer for me so I could sleep longer during my nap.
400 years ago the Pilgrims landed on the shores of Massachusetts in 1620. A major news source unearthed this 400-year-old painting that documents the event. I don’t think it was a turkey that was eaten during the first #Thanksgiving! 😉
I wore my @KamalaHarris hat while shopping. An older, white gentleman saw my hat, grabbed his wife to make her look at me, and lifted up his hand in the shape of a gun and played like he shot me. I stood there shocked as he walked away. #BidenHarris2020
@Sarcasticluther Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
Because I knew you
I have been changed for good #wicked#for good
Seriously, I was thinking I might see #PresidentTrump go to church this morning after demanding houses of worship open, but I think golf was in order instead. 🏌️#COVID
@RevDaniel I forgot to message you earlier but when you posted a couple of weeks ago about “ED” I thought you meant erectile dysfunction instead of eating disorder. I was thinking wow he’s REALLY being vulnerable and authentic on here. I really appreciate all of your posts!
Ready for this priest to be really authentic??? I have been thinking I was running a little bit of a fever since my thermometer kept on saying 98.6. In my head I was thinking "normal" was 98.1 but then I realized I was thinking of a local radio station number!!😳 @eagle0981
St Margaret's parishioner Dottie Smith adoring her beloved husband Randy Smith from a chair outside his room at a care center. This is love.
