Seeking a technical cofounder to build PACT. The open protocol for agent-to-agent commerce.
x402 nails micropayments. MCP connects agent fleets. But there's no standard layer for portable, verifiable authorization evidence across rails (crypto, fiat, hybrid), with embedded policies for governance/compliance.
PACT sits alongside both: cryptographically proves intent/auth, stays rail-neutral & on/off-chain agnostic, enables dispute evidence and provenance without central choke points.
If you're deep in crypto primitives (EIP-712, ZK, signatures), protocol design (x402/MCP/ACPs), or agent infra, and want to shape the agent economy's trust layer, let's talk.
DMs open. Building in public, whitepaper + Python impl already up.

lol you’re not wrong. Thats the wedge. PACT is entirely buyer-side, so the startup gets a signed proof of what their agent was authorized to spend before the payment fires. Founder level accountability from day one.
Are your users asking for that proof layer at all yet, or is it purely execution right now?
@peytoncasper Totally fair on sequencing. I’d flip it for enterprise though, as the guardrail unlocks the users. Hard to see a CFO deploying agents w/o proof of auth. What guardrails are your users hitting hardest right now?
@hosseeb nailed it. Agentic commerce will unlock massive value, but it hinges on efficient, programmable rails like x402 for seamless AI micropayments.
To scale this responsibly, embedding compliance, authorization, and governance across diverse payment forms (crypto, fiat, hybrid) via a rail-agnostic protocol has to work on top of the layers being built today.
That's the core of PACT: an open protocol for agent-to-agent commerce with cryptographic proofs of intent/auth, dispute evidence, and provenance w/o central chokepoints.

@cosmo_jiang Agents are a digital workforce, but there's no standard for proving their purchases are legitimate. Introducing PACT, an open protocol A-2-A commerce with cryptographic proof of authorization. Whitepaper + working .py implementation just published. https://t.co/p85kxyOMZ1

Amin Elhassan says Bam Adebayo is the best defender in the NBA
"He’s the best defensive player in the league, and it’s not even close. The moment you show me Rudy Gobert guarding Jayson Tatum — not on a switch, guarding Jayson Tatum, guarding Jaylen Brown — how did they bottle the Celtics’ offense in the second half? It was Bam Adebayo. It wasn’t just in help defense; it was Bam Adebayo as the primary defender on Brown, on Tatum, on Porzingis, even guarding Holiday a couple of times. That’s the best defensive player in the NBA, bar none."

JUST IN: Oliver Anthony shares a verse from the Bible in his first public appearance since going viral for his ‘Rich Men North of Richmond’ song.
“Before we start singing, and I mean we, 'cause I hope y'all are gonna be singing too. I just had something I felt compelled to share with you.”
“This is in Psalms, Psalms 37, 12 - 20. The wicked plot against the righteous and nash their teeth at them. But the Lord laughs at the wicked for he knows their day is coming. The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright.”
“But their swords will pierce their own hearts and their bows will be broken. Better the little that have righteousness than the wealth of many wicked. For the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. The blameless spend their days under the Lord's care and their inheritance will endure forever. In times of disaster, they will not wither and in days of famine, they will have plenty. But the wicked will perish.”
“Though the Lord's enemies are like the flowers of the field, they will be consumed and they will go up in smoke.”
Legend 🔥
The screenwriter & playwright Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Social Network, Moneyball, Molly’s Game, etc.) is known among his peers as a master of dialogue.
Yet, unlike most of his peers, Sorkin didn’t start writing until after college.
“There was this one night,” Sorkin said:
"I was staying in this very, very tiny studio apartment. It was one of those nights in New York City where it just feels like everybody has been invited to a party you haven't been invited to.
In this apartment, there was a semi-automatic electric typewriter. The TV was broken. The stereo was broken.
The only thing to do was to put a piece of paper in that typewriter and start typing.
Out of pure boredom...it was the first I wrote for fun, it was the first time I wrote dialogue. And I loved it. I stayed up all night writing, and I feel like that night has never ended."
Takeway 1:
Aaron Sorkin didn't start writing dialogue until after college.
But...in every Sorkin interview I’ve watched or listened to, he says some version of,
"My parents started taking me to see plays when I was very young…I always loved the sound of dialogue. It sounded like music to me."
In hindsight, Sorkin says, his unique attraction to the sound of dialogue should have clued him in to start writing earlier in his life.
It makes me think of the advice from Amy Krouse Rosenthal:
"For anyone trying to discern what to do with their life: PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU PAY ATTENTION TO. That's pretty much all the info you need."
Takeaway 2:
Aaron Sorkin started writing "out of pure boredom," he said.
The prolific writer Neil Gaiman was once asked where he gets all his ideas.
“From daydreaming,” he said. “You get ideas from being bored. The trouble with these days is that it’s really hard to get bored."
If there’s any difference between him and less creative people, he said,
“I’m much better at putting my phone away, going for boring walks, actually trying to find the [time and] space to get bored in. That’s what I’ve started saying to people who say ‘I want to be a writer,” I say ‘great, get bored.’”

The Grant Study is a very interesting, insightful study done over 75 years at Harvard.
They followed the lives of 268 men & noted what factors mattered/influenced life the most.
Main takeaways:
- Alcoholism is the most destructive force on earth
- Relationships matter more than intelligence for financial success
- Those will “warm” childhood relationships with their parents end up vastly more happy & successful than those with poor childhood relationships.
Essentially, the study found: “Happiness is love. Full stop.”
