@DrRChadwick @FernandoPhysics I’m intrigued by the care/gratitude paper above, but doesnt a research gap only emerge when looking at literature in aggregate—fixating on the limitations of a subset of scholars reflects students’ rudimentary sense of what a research gap is not an issue w the concept itself?
@metzpsych Teaching is about communicating complex information in a way that centers comprehension, but provokes deep engagement and curiosity—super relevant to becoming an effective researcher (esp in non-academic fields where audiences don’t always have technical backgrounds).
@ShaiDavidai@Columbia You forgot to include Israel in this list, which would clock in towards the top w hundreds of millions of dollars worth of gifts.
Just found out that the psychology job market got a boost from someone finally setting up a Google Sheet:

Don't know who did this, but whoever you are, THANK YOU!
I really hope this will pick up, to be as good as the management sheet.
Help improve this!
1/ I’m an Israeli academic. My community is too silent about the ongoing war in Gaza. Here is how I see things based on reading hundreds of articles and watching thousands of videos and images about the war. This tweet chain contains my conclusions as a sort of executive summary.
