We are deeply saddened by the recent incident where Sikh passengers were subjected to hours of harassment and had their flight tickets canceled for refusing to remove their turbans. This is not just about security; it’s about understanding and respecting our identity.

This was Bhai Sahib’s first time being asked to remove his Turban in 20 years of travel. UNITED SIKHS stands with the victims and calls for accountability, education, and sensitivity training for airport staff to prevent such discrimination.
