This is counter-productive, authoritarian and chilling. The British state should not be in the business of banning commentators and journalists from entering the country, without compelling reason. Finding their views objectionable is nowhere near enough.

I love these goofy anti-education losers because they think you just rocked up with a chisel at 18 and someone said 'ok so do what you want, enjoy, cathedral there please'. The guilds and apprenticeships were hardcore. It was a degree, as we'd understand it, and highly specialised
@DonaldClarke63 Agreed, there is record of him visiting UK in 2010 and going to Bristol among other places but can’t find any evidence of this anecdote (which would surely have been a big story)
Fox host: I think it is alarming that we have not been able to see or hear from any of the Iranian people. Do they have drinking water, food?

Hate to think of how many students have suffered and job applications have been ignored because the software that does stuff like this basically doesn’t work.
NEW: Each day since the start of the war in Iran, U.S. military officials compile a video for President Trump that shows the biggest, most successful strikes on Iranian targets over the previous 48 hours, U.S. officials say.
One described each daily video as a series of clips of “stuff blowing up.”

Extraordinary. An entire thread of people debating whether a regular, generic, quite obvious bait-and-switch joke in a newspaper column was written accidentally.
@VictoriaPeckham Fair enough, but you wrote 'cared' in the tweet and 'passionate about' in the copy, and both of those words apply to today's government re minimum wage
The FT's longtime Tehran correspondent Najmeh Bozorgmehr has written an anti-war manifesto that is simultaneously intimate and epic, heart-breaking and hopeful. A reminder how war is an assault on humanity itself.
