@weskambale Yes it’s unlimited but if you consistently hit usage levels that they deem too high for the residential subscription, they can still restrict your usage. And they don’t clearly state what that “high usage levels” is. For such cases they recommend using the Priority service plan
@UNEB_UG@Educ_SportsUg@GCICUganda@UgandaMediaCent Requesting submissions via CD feels outdated. UNEB should be at the forefront of technological advancement, setting an example by adopting secure online submissions.
@IanNdamwesiga other Meta apps – including for ads - unless it’s for determining how many people we serve, keeping people safe, or optional features that work across Meta Company Products. Optional features are always explained clearly in the app so you can make the choice that’s right for you
@IanNdamwesiga Interesting. Where can one access this ruling? Seems like a good step but also considering few people take time to read privacy policies before using these apps, I’d be curious to see what impact this ruling creates.
@IanNdamwesiga eg. Meta would argue that its policy already provides for this “WhatsApp relies on Meta’s infrastructure, such as servers, to support people around the world with fast and reliable services. However, access to WhatsApp personal data is restricted so it cannot be used by 1/2
Take a look at the Uganda kit at this year's Africa Cup of Nations and you might spot the manufacturer's name 'Janzi’.
Never heard of it? That is because it is an outlier, a brand set up by Uganda's football association to make their kit. And you can tell.
Their effort comes bottom of our AFCON kit rankings but there are some absolute beauties on show, featuring massive eagles, the influence of Tunisian carpets and plenty more besides.

@TimKalyegira@BenmylesSteward@derrickwandera2@benmwine Totally agree on this. There’s a lot of work going to make AI apps much easier to use. The AI industry has come quite a long way and there’s still more improvements to come.
@derrickwandera2@BenmylesSteward@TimKalyegira@benmwine You can actually use AI for fast changing facts. Depending on the platform definitely. eg ChatGPT has search and deep research options which give it capability to search the web for newer context. Yes AI has its limitations but you can still get value from it when prompted well.
