@robbystarbuck β€ Yes, MANY people have been bullied because they are different in some way. If we teach our kids to love ALL people, bullying won't stop because there will always be people who choose to be mean but it will lessen. CRT turns us against each other causing more strife & division.
@ninergrl6@HenryMacAngus@djackson8184@TheeColorGreen Exactly!! Why would they make the theme of the season about fighting for love and have the "hero" chosen avoid conflict, lack depth of communication (especially about hard things) and not fight for love until the REAL HERO of the show tells him to? π€π
@CingulateCortex @HeartieNp @brbird From a literary standpoint, they gave us a ton more reasons for her to choose Nathan so her choice doesn't make sense according to the story they told all season. The clues and context need to agree with the ending.
@CingulateCortex@brbird No, but you don't have to drag it out for 3 seasons and drag one of the characters through the mud in the process. Readers/fans don't want to see that. Especially if the character is loved like Nathan is. Remember that you control the emotions of your readers. Be nice.
@brbird My problem is that if she wasn't going to choose Nathan, then choose early and let him move on. Don't drag him and his fans through the mud all season lying to us. π That's why we are so upset. It's not that we didn't get our way. It's the way we were treated this season.
@brbird I thought you were a man of integrity. This season showed no integrity. Not in the writing from a literary standpoint or in the way the fans were lied to that both guys would get a chance. I defended you all season that you would do right in the end. I was wrong. π
@HerzockC @HopeRising20 My problem is that if she wasn't going to choose Nathan, then choose early and let him move on. Don't drag him and his fans through the mud all season lying to us. π That's why we are so upset. It's not that we didn't get our way. It's the way we were treated this season.
@HopeRising20 No. It's all about INTEGRITY. The main storylines of season 8 had no integrity from a literary standpoint or morally from the people who tried to sell it to us for ratings sake. ππ They lied that both guys would get a chance. I won't be supporting it anymore. So disappointed.π’
@HopeRising20 We feel betrayed because they should have had her choose Lucas early on and given Nathan a good story. We would have been ok with that. It hurt to watch each week but we thought there was hope. They only said he had a chance to string us along. They lied. π
@brbird@hallmarkchannel@SCHeartHome I have watched faithfully since day one and never thought I would ever stop watching. I thought the show was about faith, love and HOPE. We feel betrayed. Not because of who she chose but how you went about it. You stomped on our hearts for ratings. Shame on you! π
@brbird@hallmarkchannel@SCHeartHome You had an chance to bring unity and encouragement to hurting people and you chose to stomp on the hearts of your loyal fans to boost ratings. We would have watched if she chose Lucas right away and Nathan had a good story. Now we feel betrayed and cheated. π
@deidrebehar@erinkrakow@ChrisMcNally_@kevin_mcGarry@hallmarkchannel@etnow Nope. The season makes no sense. The writers tore our hearts out all season. It doesn't even look like the same Hope Valley. I will always be Team Nathan but they ruined Team Hope Valley. It used to be my favorite show. π’ Goodbye Hope Valley...
