@_basic_witch_ @SJSchauer My point is that bullying and being a “mean” anyone doesn’t belong anywhere. Regardless of where you work or what you do :) I’d argue that most people have lives “in their hands” maybe not literally but we all lead and influence people in someway

@Nerdiac @SJSchauer Never ever said I haven’t worked with my fair share of mean nurses. The majority of my coworkers are wonderful but definitely have done my fair share of DROWINING in politics. My best friend on my floor lost his job because of bitchy nurses. So I’m not ignorant to it. Thanks tho!

@Parlantisnpolos @ekbk4evr01 @SJSchauer Totally understand that. I’ve worked with my fair share of mean nurses. It’s not uncommon, unfortunately. I felt defensive so I added the part about it being hard. I’m not disagreeing with her necessary, but it feels like a harsh generalization to me.

@SJSchauer I work alongside the most amazing compassionate people Ive ever met. Nursing is hard. we do, see & go through tough things. & bullying has no place in ANY workplace. Id be interested to see how many mean girls end up as influencers, business profs, teachers, etc. Not just nurses

@SJSchauer Nursing has been rated the most trusted profession for multiple years in a row. While there are many incidents of bullying/mistreatment (nurse to patient or nurse to nurse), there’s a LARGE population of us working hard to change what’s been perceived/going on for too long.
