i’m rlly rlly happy here, but im also outgrowing this city rlly quickly lol (to be fair, it’s extremely small and you can see every landmark in one hour walking)
i feel like there’s 0 expectations of me here and no one to constantly tell me what im doing wrong so yay ^__^
OMG LIFE UPDATE FOR THE NEW YEAR!
no longer in mexico who cheered omfg i hated it there, finally got to see my uni and attend to at least 5 classes before holidays 😓, been studying a lot to save the semester, made friends !!!, sharing room with my sister’s cat.
new life update
i’m in mexico now, been stuck here for three months lmfao i’m sick and tired of being here. finished knitting my sweater, got into uni (going to study chemical engineering) and i’m mostly rotting in bed if im not working so !
quality.
here’s an example of a sweater (that i made btw) with dk weight (i mixed a lace alpaca yarn and a sock cotton yarn) vs a sweater made with super bulky yarn by tara lynn morrison on ravelry.
the “difference in quality” is also due to the different yarn weights. in knitting (and crochet) there’s a lot of options to make a sweater. the most common ones are lace, sock, dk and aran. the og sweater was probably made out of aran or super bulky yarn. if the ‘new’
sweater was made out of the same yarn weight, you probably wouldn’t have been able to notice that “difference in quality” just from a picture.
there’s also another argument to be made if the ‘new’ sweater was hand knitted or made by a machine, which could also affect its
