𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀. But right now, they can't control who actually shows up, can't stop scalpers from inflating prices, and can't prevent bots from buying tickets. On top of that, producers can't build real relationships with their fans. Someone buys a ticket and may or may not show up, but there's no way to build on that success or create any continuity. They're back to square one every time. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺. This is why we're building TKT. We're giving producers the tools they should have had all along. How many times have we all seen concert tickets disappear in seconds, only to reappear on Facebook Marketplace at insane prices? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁. Senate Bill 2873 proposes making ticket scalping a ₱500,000 crime with a 10% markup limit. Government agencies could prosecute scalpers and corporate offenders directly. Whether this bill passes or not, it signals where one of Southeast Asia's most passionate entertainment markets is going. When governments start considering half-million peso penalties, you need verification, traceability, and producer controls built into your event ticketing from day one. Industry data shows that on average, 𝟰𝟬% of ticketing website traffic comes from bots. 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗷𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝟲𝟬-𝟵𝟬%. In one case study: 8.3 million bot requests tried to break in. One scalper attempted to use their presale link over 31,000 times to grab extra queue spots. About 95% of all traffic was bots and scalpers. Only 138,000 actual fans made it through. Current platforms treat symptoms, not the disease. They'll block obvious bots but can't distinguish between a genuine fan and a sophisticated scalper with clean credentials. That's exactly what we're building at TKT.
