On August 3-7 there will be a virtual Distance Teaching and Learning conference. This conference will be extremely help to attend this year since many teachers will start school this year virtually.
Alabama Education Association is hosting a webinar on July 27, 2020 about Overcoming challenges in virtual K-12 teaching and learning. A lot of us teachers feel unsure about this upcoming school year. This webinar will give some guidance on how to successfully navigate this year.
The Everyday Mathematics listserv has family letters, games and math messages. This is a great tool for me to use to gather resources for my students and my parents.
This year I will be starting the LETRS (language essentials for teachers of reading and spelling). I am a first grade teacher and I think this program will give me great strategies to teach children who are struggling and be able to challenge my advanced students!
Love this!! Something I know I’m guilty of and need to be more aware of. This was such a great reminder to be notice all students learning not just the few that are actively participating. Thank you for giving us strategies to motive our students and get rid of our fisheye!
