One of the greatest humans ever was assassinated 53 years ago today. An amazing force of humanity that had the strength to fight racism & discrimination nonviolently. He fought hate with love. He cared about everyone as he was being disrespected by many. #MLK #love #CivilRights

[The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center @TheKingCenter]

On the 53rd anniversary of the day Dr. King was assassinated, here is a #thread of #speeches and #sermons in which he speaks truth to power, shares about his philosophy of nonviolence, and expounds on issues of injustice and what our righteous, rigorous response should be. #MLK

The Infinite Game by @simonsinek is a great read... “In strong cultures people find safety in relationships. Strong relationships are the foundation of high performing teams and all high performing teams start with trust.” Look beyond immediate results to infinite outcomes!

For #movienight we watched ⁦@NewsOfTheWorld⁩ starring ⁦@tomhanks⁩. Excellent movie that reminds us of other trying times in history where humanity has to overcome division and move forward instead of hold on to the past. Check it out!

Ch. 8 explores making sustainable change when it comes to racism. Dr Livingston cites ⁦⁦@thenewjimcrow⁩ to drive the point home, “Without a moral or spiritual awakening, we will remain forever trapped by political games fueled by fear, greed, and the hunger for power.“
