I have an issue where I get an idea for a story and start to outline it, but by the time I get to writing an ending I get scared that it’s going to be too big, too ridiculous, too much for a reader to buy.
So I just never finish anything 🙃🙃
Every year I get older and feel that drive to write and make writing my career again.
So, I’m back on my writing acct I guess, despite the dumpster fire that is Twitter.
Ever go looking for a specific Scrivener file and accidentally find the start of a story you don’t remember and just. . .
Read your own book? And love it?
Now I just want to work on this one!

@jodyjsperling 10 or more? I’m not sure. Most are bad concepts, boring, or just poorly developed. 4 of them I would like to rewrite someday.
I have also done some form of outline on probably 30 others.
I’m just terrible at finishing anything.
Kiddo woke up sick in the middle of the night, and now I’m so tired that I’m not getting any writing in today.
But I’m doing some idea drafting!
My 36 ideas list is only expanding, and my hard drive full of first drafts is crying 😂
Any other #writers struggle with having too many ideas in too many genres?
I just can’t plan what I want to *focus* on and I end up not finishing much because of it.

@memmyygrace I think I have a copy of Diary of a Haunting! I’ll grab that one up.
I’m re-reading Jane Eyre right now (why didn’t I realize it was good before!?)
Also if you are interested, I would LOVE to chat with you about this story I’m working on 😅
Can anyone recommend me some #horror featuring haunting and ghost hunting?
Working on #writing a story with some of these themes and always looking to see how others have done it!

I’m excited to tell this story, about friendship and loneliness and hauntings and learning how to be yourself.
Falling in love and falling apart.
Stories that scare you and real experiences that will haunt you for the rest of your life.
That’s this story.

This story is about us, but it’s also about who I think I would have been without them.
It’s about when a ghost story goes from fun and interesting and moves into the real world. That moment when you first leave home where loneliness manifests into something more.
