@redpillb0t Trees are great carbon sinks but so is topsoil. Soil humus is made up of 70% carbon and the worldβs crop lands have lost half their humus. Yet, there is still more carbon in soil than there is in all living organisms combined
@ConceptualJames 10 years ago, the ESG movement focused on improving competitiveness through innovations that prevent waste, emissions, accidents, etc. it has been hijacked by the large accounting firms that focus on bean counting and reporting.
@ScottAdamsSays We have hundreds of thousands of Wells that no longer produce oil and gas already drilled into geothermal assets. Many of them could be repurposed to produce renewable power without the intermittency issues associated with wind and solar.
