I'll tell you what. I'm so sick of Trump's voice. I'm sick of watching an obviously unqualified man destroying democracy.
For over a year and a half, we've allowed this pathetic, half-whitted, caricature of a man to use America as if laws don't exist. America has become Trump's little stepping stone to adding billions to his pockets.
Many people wanted Trump because he wasn't a politician, but his first term showed us that he wasn't a good president or businessman. So, we said, f*ck it. Let's give him another try. Thanks, Mitch.
When we look at his deranged words, actions and demeanor, we have to ask, who's to blame?
First off, Congress along with the Supreme Court can take their fair share of the blame. They've allowed him free reign. Yet, every Republican politician and Republican voter deserve the blame. They are all complicit.
Who would have ever guessed that a man who is acused of being a pedophile, a civilly convicted sex offender, with 26 sexual misconduct cases against him could ever become the president?
He's started wars, he's destroyed the White House, he's deprived people of their healthcare, he's taken away our much needed help to many countries around the world.
All while racking up millions in playing golf. He's spent $151 million tax dollars so far this term. Trump's four year presidential salary is $1.6 million ($400,000 per year)
Well, it ain't over. Only 53% of Project 2025 has been completed.
We're in-store for two more years of destruction.
A possible romantic relationship between a president and one of his aides isn’t something the public needs to know about.
by Ken Starr and Newt Gingrich
Steve Schmidt, who ran John McCain's 2008 campaign for president, was interviewed on MSNOW. In response to a very general question regarding the Trump presidency, Mr. Schmidt spoke for two minutes and gave the most insightful and brutally honest response of what the Trump presidency has done to our great country: "Donald Trump has been the worst president this country has ever had. And, I don't say that hyperbolically. He is.
But he is a consequential president. And, he has brought this country in three short years to a place of weakness that is simply unimaginable if you were pondering where we are today from the day where Barack Obama left office. And, there were a lot of us on that day who were deeply skeptical and very worried about what a Trump presidency would be. But this is a moment of unparalleled national humiliation, of weakness.” "When you listen to the President, these are the musings of an imbecile.
An idiot. And I don't use those words to name call. I use them because they are the precise words of the English language to describe his behavior. His comportment. His actions. We've never seen a level of incompetence, a level of ineptitude so staggering on a daily basis by anybody in the history of the country whose ever been charged with substantial responsibilities.” "It's just astonishing that this man is president of the United States. The man, the con man, from New York City.
Many bankruptcies, failed businesses, a reality show, that branded him as something that he never was. A successful businessman. Well, he's the President of the United States now, and the man who said he would make the country great again. And he's brought death, suffering, and economic collapse on truly an epic scale. And, let's be clear. This isn't happening in every country around the world. This place. Our place. Our home. Our country. The United States. We are the epicenter.
We are the place where you're the most likely to die from this disease. We're the ones with the most shattered economy. And we are, because of the fool that sits in the Oval Office behind the Resolute Desk." @SteveSchmidtSES r/t Ron Tipton
How can you possibly vote for a Republican if you're a child of immigrants? Or a millennial? Or a person of color? Or LGBTQ? Or a senior? Or on a fixed income? Or in a labor union? Or in need of steady health care? Or a woman? Or compassionate? Or sane?
I wasn't the first to say it, but I've repeated it often - every projection Trump makes is a confession.
Psychological projection was first described by Freud, wherein individuals transfer their own unacceptable impulses, desires, or emotions onto someone else. Carl Jung expanded this idea with the concept of a shadow self - when we project, we cast a shadow onto others, seeing in them what we refuse to acknowledge in ourselves. It's not a leap to see this in Trump every f*cking day. He projects constantly.
But the biggest psychological projection of the Trump years is going on right now, and boy does it play to the ignorance of his base. This, of course, is the characterization of Democrats as communists. The Trump base, however, puts feeling before fact, and dopamine rushes before reasoned thought. They hear "Communist" and they hear "bad" so the attribution of Dems as Communist plays. They put no effort into understanding what the communist ideology actually preaches. Because it's a lot easier to feel than to think.
In Communism, the government wields power; it exerts control over the economy; it buys or takes stakes in businesses and industries; the government is weaponized to silence adversarial dissent; and the government glorifies its leadership. You want to see Communism in America? Look at Trumpism.
Where every projection is a confession.
I'm going to predict that when the damage assessment is complete, well into the future, Trump's greatest crime will prove to be espionage - AND - it will be the most catastrophic breach of national security in American history.
We will discover he passed secrets to Russia from day 1 because he was compromised; and did favors for the Saudis shortly after, purely for personal profit; and who knows what the hell else.
His many Useful Idiocies will boggle the mind. And his America First gaslight will be remembered as Trump BEFORE America. His treachery - some done for power and profit, and some purely for pathological reasons like paranoia, revenge, and contrarianism, will have massively impacted the globe, permanently shifted wealth, and cost many millions of lives.
And a good deal of it might not have happened but for our legacy media's widespread normalization of his disorders.
The ONLY remaining strategy for the political Right is Demonization of the Left in the form of falsehoods, cartoonish hyperbole, and misstated epithets. Because they can't talk economy, they can't talk deficit, and they sure as shit can't talk global peace. The stupidity of their demonization and use of the term "communism" which they can't even define, shows you three things: they got nothing, they don't serve The People, and they're speaking only to a dwindling hardcore base.
Every single day during the presidency of Joe Biden, the Strait of Hormuz was open and free. Biden never pushed to have monuments built for himself. Biden never inserted himself into other peoples' celebratory photos. Biden never made prime time announcements 100% filled with false, conspiratorial claims. Biden never paid hush money to a porn star. Biden was never impeached, convicted, found liable, or disgorged. Biden was never banned from owning a charity or forced to close a fake university. Biden never had hundreds of bank accounts closed for money laundering. And Biden never confused an ex-wife with a woman he raped and defamed.
I miss Biden.
Trump's numbers are in the basement, but he doesn't care. This narcissistic megalomaniac actually believes his poll numbers are "the best they've ever been."
Next time, be careful who you vote for. Don't do it casually. It does make a difference.
Billionaires own the platforms, politicians, newspapers and data centers and then tell you the greatest threat to your freedom is a broke immigrant picking vegetables.
Weak minded idiots always fall for blaming others. Fascism needs stupid people for it to be implemented.
Trump is unique among malignant narcissists in being of below average intelligence, inarticulate, and poorly read. We almost never see this.
Even many non-political malignant narcissists (Ted Bundy) had high IQ's. And "cult of personality" malignant narcissists (Jim Jones, David Koresh), are especially literate and sharp. The pervasiveness and persuasiveness of cult leaders is usually enhanced by their intelligence and articulacy, repartee and even wit.
Yet Trump is such a loud, boorish, and obvious con, that his political rise speaks as much to our celebrity culture, our consuming of media in echo chambers, his craven enablers, and our aggrieved society. This convergence has created a phenomenon that's made too much of our electorate ... I'll just be nice and call them "susceptible."
BUT - and this is the point of this tweet - BECAUSE he's so flawed, so owned by his disorders, and so enfeebled, he can't navigate the very chaos he inflicts. He's become too old, too desperate, too fearful and too unable to process his own mortification. He has no strategic thought or inclination to play from behind.
All he has now are his cravings, fantastical desire to reclaim grandiosity, panicked fear of humiliation, and toxicity. He has no smarts, no patience, no craftiness. And not enough incoming narcissistic nutrition, no matter how often they give him the North Korea treatment. You can see that this is all he has more clearly now, because he keeps making mistakes and screwing up everything, everywhere, all at once.
His decline is unmistakable. His demise will be spectacular.
Meet the senior staff running Mitch McConnell's DC office. You pay their salaries. You're entitled to know what they're keeping from us.
Let them know how you feel.
My kids have measles, I can't breathe the air, I can't afford gas, and I have explosive diarrhea from a parasite RFK Jr. ordered the CDC to stop monitoring. But at least now the Saudis have a nuclear program.
On the same day Graham Platner announced his withdrawal from the Maine Senate race under Democratic Party pressure, Colorado MAGAs nominated for governor a man who won't reveal how many people he's killed, conducts exorcisms by phone and claims he can call in Air Force airstrikes
