A7: I feel like this is one of the most important topics to discuss. I have seen more students expelled/suspended this year and most of it is starting online.Right now we use advisory to teach about cyber safety. I also incorporate it into my lesson when possible.

A6: I have attempted to use blended learning by having students use their iPad at home to pre-activate knowledge about a skill we would be learning the next day/week. So far, it has not gone well since students have not really done the work. #gettinggreyhairs#tldeuno2019
A5: I use have used Kahoot! in the past, but just found Gimkit. It is my new obsession and everyone should check it out. A high school student made it! I also use Microsoft teams for communication with the teams I coach and for my classes.

@karischroder@nat_a_tat_tat_ I learned about it through a presentation at AMLE. It is a bit complicated. Send me a DM and I will send you some links to help create the form!
Q4: I have played with virtual reality but it made me very motion sick. I think I could be interesting to create a story that could be implemented into VR.

Q3: I have mostly personal experience using online meeting tools. I have many family members that live overseas so we use Skype and Marco Polo to chat. I have used Zoom and FaceTime for professional use.

Q2: My go to formative tool has become SeeSaw. The classes are now set-up based off my rosters through Infinite Campus. I like how students have choice on how they respond to a prompt and can interact in an online environment that has teacher control.

Q1: I used game-based learning mostly through reviews and activating knowledge. I will use apps like Kahoot along with games like trash ball.

A5: My twitter experience has been very limited for education. My "educational experience" -until this class- would only be to look into Bored Teachers or if school is cancelled.

A4: I found one of the biggest advantages of a PLN or Twitter is to remember you are not alone. It is easy to get bogged down by problems and get stuck, using these can help teachers to not feel like they are drowning.

A3: I follow #teacherlife. It not only puts a smile on my face for some of the sillier tweets that are included, it also has some really strong examples of teaching.

A2: Twitter has changed my thinking by giving me a quick resource. I have students who are many times asking me for book suggestions, twitter has many hashtags to help when I am unsure!
