#ECE isn't just about #economy & getting parents to work. It should be #child centred, high quality, & publicly supported/funded. Benefits of high quality #ECE has ripple effects. Economic benefits WILL happen as a side effect of high quality care. Children should remain first.
@cafreeland Thank you. This is long overdue and will surely benefit young children, their parents, our communities and the economy. Quality provision is of utmost importance and our early childhood educators will need additional supports in providing inclusive, engaging, high quality ELCC.
@HonAhmedHussen Thank you for pushing for this investment. Our lives will be changed and most importantly our children will benefit greatly by having access to quality early learning and child care that meets their own unique needs and is affordable for their families.
