@pzromanek at #ICL2024 aimed 1) to share some findings from the interviews with 12 L1 sign linguists on grammar description approaches from his PhD, and 2) to present an emerging practice with a grammar description corpus to describe the Estonian SL at @tlu_evkur. @Deaf_Studies
In our talk at 'Globalizing Sociolinguistics 3' we discussed two issues: (a) how sign language choice is constructed in multilingual sign language communities in 🇪🇪 🇭🇺 🇦🇹 & 🇩🇪 & (b) how sign language choice is related to language inequality. @tlu_evkur@HumboldtUni@TallinnHum
