@RogerSteeleJr Also, look up Ian Fraser on YouTube (formerly TXG and Club Champion). He preaches that shafts don't spin. It's swing (delivery) and ball, mostly. Which is why I mention your swing could be changing a bit when you get on the course.

@RogerSteeleJr I could be totally wrong but I'm a firm believer of range /= course. Obviously warming up and practicing helps but most people can't translate their range swings 1 to 1 on the course. Pressure plays a huge role and swings change under pressure.

@TheStroker83 @LouStagner The course I play, I play in a league. Their "men's tees" are only 6000 yards and I regularly shoot around par or under par. I'm a 2.5 index.

I would have to shoot 67 or 68 to be scratch.

To me, playing 7000+ and shooting 72 or 73 (the likely rating) is much easier.
