@DerrickEvans4WV Agreed. And I’m tired of being giving the handheld in a fast food drive thru asking for a tip. I went from leaving a couple of bucks for good service to $0. I’m tipped out.
Women mate horizontally and up. Men mate horizontally and down.
Scott Galloway’s blunt take: The pool of men who can meet women’s standards is shrinking fast, while women are ascending faster than any group in history, more college degrees, more home ownership, more power.
We shouldn’t slow women down, but we need to figure out how to produce more economically and emotionally viable young men, or household formation is going to collapse.
What’s your take, is this trend creating a growing mismatch between men and women that society needs to address?
I was taken people out like a linebacker to get to my connection because the app still said on time. (We left about an hour late) But to your point, everyone keeps shouting ai, ai but everyday apps or ai simply don’t work. Does United run on oracle cx? ◡̈
I see people complaining about flights and I always thought “I would never do that”. After my own experience, I think people are upset because there is zero communication. Not because the flight is late but b/c we are clueless to what is going on.
Here is the trick with AI. They don’t want you enjoying free time by finishing your work faster. They want you producing more with those extra hours you saved.
@shannonrwatts@united it keeps getting better. Landed in DEN early, sat on tarmac for 30 min+. At this point I think I am going to miss my connection b/c the app says 20min walk. I run to the gate and am arriving at the moment it says they will be ending boarding for the gate to say a diff city.
@shannonrwatts@united I look at app, says I am at the right gate. As gate attendent, he says “I just run the gate for the LAX flight”. I run to find a screen. I was at the correct gate. Flight before is delayed. My app still says we are boarding 20 minutes ago.
This happened to me today as well. I thought I needed to pick a different flight because my flight was canceled but it wasn’t. It is either a glitch or they are doing this on purpose to get you to move your flight…..
Beware: the @united app now has a sneaky online request for you to change your flight to one that’s less booked, and makes it look like a regular check in when it’s a total flight change. I accidentally hit “confirmed” and was placed on two later flights and then spent an hour having to reschedule to my original flights.
