@BogochIsaac I agree with @BogochIsaac Until recently I had only seen 2 cases of measles. It would be helpful for clinicians and parents to look at the wonderful work lead by Dr. Anna Taddio to make vaccinations a more positive experience at https://t.co/psRb1rpRBh
@alandrummond2 This is one of the flaws in the system. I do appreciate that you are bringing it into light. I had access to the daily admission lists of 2 hospitals. One of the categories was “disposition” and under that category was “LAMA” left against medical advice … that they didn’t get.
At a time when there is a shortage of primary care and specialty providers, NPs represent an under utilized resource to connect more patients with high-quality, timely care.

@GovernorVA So sorry to hear about this terrible tragedy. Hersh’s parents did everything they could to advocate for his release. They were so powerful in their voice advocating a peaceful resolution. My heart goes out to all of the people.
@robreiner Sometimes switching out the opposition is exactly what is needed. Trump thinks he can win over Biden. He might not know how he could do against a new opponent.
@cmarianoNP@SylviaJonesMPP@ONThealth This is so important for the health care system and the people of Ontario. If you can’t count it, it doesn’t count. If @SylviaJonesMPP desires accountable care, rostering NP clients is the way to go. Not an onerous process; one form.
Striking graphs showing cigarette sales by year and lung cancer deaths by year in the US - I'm pleased that I and people in my immediate family never smoked. My Dad lived to 93 and my Mother to 102.
@NPAOntario Under the Canada Health Act physicians cannot privately bill an individual for a medically necessary service. Technically Nurse Practitioners can. The broader solution is to provide equitable & comprehensive funding to fund Nurse Practitioners wherever they work.
Last year, Doug Ford gave 43 of his MPPs a raise of $16,600 each, while he continued to fight nurses in court to keep Bill 124, a wage suppression legislation that was deemed unconstitutional by an Ontario court.
So, you want me to feel sorry for Steve Clark, who still gets to keep his cozy MPP job while making more than nurses who save lives daily? Nurses are losing their homes and resorting to foodbanks. Steve only lost a feather from his hat. He remains well off as an MPP. #Accountability #GreenbeltScandal #Greenbelt

@LeighChappy @VanessaBurkoski was an extraordinary nursing leader, so passionate about the profession and boosting the contribution of all nurses. So sorry to hear of this loss @RNAO@NPAOntario
@markcritch Gordon Pinsent, what an incredible man and actor! I saw him a few times taking a stroll with his daughter Leah. I said “Gordon, you got work with Julie Christie! Wow!” And he said “Yes and she got to work with me!” All I could say was “Lucky her!” Shine on Gordon!
