Initially thought it was straight at him, but no, that Inaki Pena save was obscenely good!
First the free-kick, then that? Tell ya what, we don’t win this without him, probably two of the best saves I’ve seen this season.
Inaki Pena, I owe you a gargantuan apology…
It’s an IQ test. I genuinely do not know how you can watch Messi show actual genius on the pitch and have more appreciation for how hard Ronaldo was able to kick the ball.
Joan Laporta: "When you go to Madrid you realize that there is a 'sociological madridismo' in all the bodies of power. In my first stage we already beat this 'sociological madridismo'. This 'sociological madridismo' did not have a good time and you can imagine how they feel when they see that Barça is doing better and on top of that the president of that stage is the same, that our coach was then the best midfielder in the world. They see that great players from grassroots football are coming out again. In addition, they are not interested in talking about their power. They are the promoters of this plot. They want to take over the club and destroy one of the symbols of Catalonia. We will win the judicial procedure. I have bad news for 'sociological madridismo' because we will make the best Barça in history again."
De Bruyne getting injured in 2 CL finals is so embarrassing. You just simply can’t be unavailable in the biggest game of the season. Imagine Messi coming off in the WC final or Ronaldo in the EURO final. Wait, the last one actually happened. Nevermind. You get my point.

Spanish Football Supremacy.
As fans we often forget to give credit where it’s due. Pique, Busquets and Alba, have together waived off around €100m in wages, to help the club move forward. I have never seen anything like that, especially nowadays. This should not be forgotten.
I haven’t really addressed this, but I really like Cancelo for Barça. Adept at playing on both flanks, inverting into the midfield and, of course, highly dynamic.
He’s potentially a defensive liability, but given his offensive acumen, I’m all for it.
@khattabamr Ah yes, 5.5 for the guy who’s about to break the world record for the least goals conceded in a league campaign… ever.
This is silly. Are we just going to pretend like having to repeatedly field a backline comprised of Eric, Pique & Alonso didn’t impact our European campaign?
