https://t.co/bJ16SVlkO8 Sharing an article about my cancer journey to CAR-T from https://t.co/Dfps5drpGR I am going to be writing some articles for them from a patient perspective. They are a great resource for Blood cancer patients.
Article about my survivor story on the BMT Infonet website. A great resource for transplant and CAR-T patients. I passed my 6 year checkup yesterday cancer free Yay!! CAR-T saved my life in a clinical trial. #beatcancer https://t.co/MOmXKDc20v
Day Zero anniversary, 6 years ago today, CAR-T Cell Therapy in a clinical trial for Follicular Lymphoma, a milestone to celebrate and share. Could not last 6 months without relapse prior to CAR-T. Paving the way on the road to a cure. @KitePharma@ThanksCancer@DanaFarber
@JonClar58684712 @ThanksCancer It is possible a combination of all those things. For me I think it was my stem cell transplant and the 5 days of high dose chemo. That gave me dry mouth really bad for months I think that attributes to the cavities.
@emtrrt_cat I am sorry, I can relate I really didn't like that feeling. On the bright side my hair came back a bit curly and the gray that had started to creep in has still not come back. Bonus! I know it's tough but try and hang in there.
Spring is my favorite season but it is often the time of year that brings me disaster. 3 years in a row spring brought cancer diagnosis to me, then the next year remission but lost my job. 6 year anniversary #cancer free labs coming up next week. I have Labxiety... #thankscancer
I can attest to that! It is leading the way in the fight against cancer. Over a 1000 clinical trials going on. My trial Zuma-5 led to the 6th FDA approval of CAR-T now available for Follicular Lymphoma and Large B-Cell Yescarta.
A friend who is battling lymphoma sent me this Six Million Dollar Man doll after I finally beat my lymphoma for good in a clinical trial. Ha ha little does he know I am only the Two Million Dollar Man because the pharmaceutical company paid 500k for the drug.
@ThanksCancer
@eersfansmf@ThanksCancer Awesome! I got this little guy to celebrate my first remission. I didn't realize then I was just beginning my journey. So glad he has been there for me and my family through it all.
I do believe I have changed the world ever so slightly by participating in the clinical trial. Now I would like to make it a great comeback story and get my inventions to market so people could use my ideas around the world. Please share. #cancersurvivor#inventions
I did lose everything after beating cancer and helping to bring a new cancer treatment to market. I have had inventions pop into my mind since. I am seeking a Shark Tank or an Angel investor to help me change the world with them. Anyone know one? #destiny#angelinvestor
@neuropsychSjo As someone who has been saved by CAR-T in a Clinical Trial I must agree. There are 1087 trials going on I believe not sure why this would be excluded.
@zoeatkinson2301@ThanksCancer Best of luck! Are they sending them via pony express? That is too much stress to put upon you to wait that long. Hope the scan comes out clean.
