#poultryclinic
Greetings great farmers.
My birds are 2 weeks and they're sick.
I have treated coccidiosis with embazin forte, centre sulphaquinoxaline, centre dicox and they still dying and still pooing blood.
What should I do next, cos l'm tired
@tmaplus I'm having same problems at the moment. After deworming them I have used Aggracox, Embazine forte at separate times. Later I used Pure Tylosin. I have also used Amoxycol and and Lasota. This morning I used the Scent leave, bitter leave, Dogoyaro leave, and some cloves. I tire.
Hey farmers and intending farmers, set a reminder for my upcoming Space. Would be an open discussion where everyone is welcomed to share their fears, struggles and wins in Agriculture. #framersdicuss#youthinagriculture https://t.co/IBY1udO686
This question was dropped on one of our videos on YouTube. How does one get big market friendly sizes from layers and at what age? Poultry farmers into layers, please your advice is needed 🙏🏼
Egg sizes are largely influenced by:
A. Intrinsic factors:
1. Breed
2. Health status of the bird
3. Age
B. Extrinsic factors
1. Feed
2. Nutritional supplements (multivitamins, amino acids)
3. Weather
4. Management practices
Ultimately, onsite investigations & proper history will be the best resolve to figure.
Also if a farmer induces/forces "market friendly sizes" from birds under wrong circumstances, cloacal prolapse will be the list of the problems.
@vetkonect will help connect the farmer to a Vet in the location to help out.
