You honestly can't cheat on someone if you're in love with them, you just can't do it, you wouldn't even consider doing it. If you can cheat on someone you claim to be in love with, you're not in love, you're simply just in love with the idea of love.
Understand the difference.
Once i mentally separate myself from a situation you'll never get the same me again. I'm somebody you gotta do right by the first time because my mental detachment doesn't allow reconnection. Especially because at my age it's hard to make sense out of another grown person trying to play in my face, I can't connect those dots.
I'm not embarrassed to admit I overplay my part a lot. I just genuinely want to make sure I give out the love I want to receive. I love hard, to the point I hurt my own feelings, which bothers me. I'll never change that aspect of myself though, because I know I showed up honest, real, and as me. I stand firm on that. 🤍
If i seem distant just know i caught on.
y’all way too comfortable with disrespecting/mistreating people and just expecting them to “get over it” without even holding yourself accountable . y’all mess up genuine people around you simply because your ego is too big to give a decent apology FOLLOWED BY corrective action AND ways to fix it …
@damnidc__ >> …because loyalty shouldn’t need reminders. I don’t want a man who “tries” only when he’s about to lose me I want a man who chooses me every single day, even on the days we don’t like each other. A husband in mindset, not just in title.
