I am horrified by the killing of hundreds of Palestinian civilians in a strike on a hospital in Gaza today, which I strongly condemn. My heart is with the families of the victims. Hospitals and medical personnel are protected under international humanitarian law.

5 months after the earthquakes, UNHCR remains on the ground to support affected families in north-west Syria.

Through emergency assistance and protection interventions, displaced families try once again, to rebuild their lives.

📢 The number of #Iraqis in need of humanitarian assistance has decreased dramatically, from 11M in 2017 to 2.5M in 2022.

Breaking news: based on new findings from @REACH_info, @ProtectionClust Iraq now estimates than “only” 433.000 displaced Iraqis are lacking civil documents.

A major drop from the 1+ mio estimated last year.

This shows the great work from protection partners & @IraqiGovt.
