Well, that's one way to make a statement...

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

Me in my late teens and early 20s:

"Oh, wow, the Cardinals are a completely different team these days!"

Me in my mid-30s:

"Nope. Same old Cardinals that I came to know in the 1990s..."

Michael Bidwill is in his 20th year as Cardinals team president.

@FB_Helmet_Guy I've always liked the old-school look.

@AZCardinals @mcbtrey @JeremiyahLove @WalterNolenIII @_treclark @FireballWhisky I'm just waiting for Monti to get handed his walking papers.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@JohnnyVenerable Monti Ossenfort will go down in Cardinals history as one of its worst GMs. Half the time, I don't even think he knows what he's doing.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@HelmetAddict Looks like the Cardinals' road uniform.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@Kyle_Odegard I've been saying for a while -- I never would have paid him what he had in his own head that he was worth. I'd have rolled with Minshew and let Brissett hold out all year.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@BirdmanofAZ I put it on the entire Cardinals offense.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

This was a fun write-up.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@akwong31 This is why I never would've paid Brissett.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@fashion_nfl There has always been something about this helmet I didn't like. Then it hit me -- the facemask. I'd love to see it in process blue or whatever they're calling it these days.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@BuckPanic Someday, one day, will turn into today.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@HelmetAddict They look like practice pants. My high school football team looked more like a professional team than the Lions do, aesthetically.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@sincecoyotes I can't believe we're already 100 days away from 1,000.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@jokomo13 It all depends if the Cardinals feel Beck is ready to start. I wouldn't put him in until I'm confident he isn't in over his head.

[Todd Matthews @tmatthews427]

@BirdmanofAZ Agreed -- it seems like things are getting worse by the year. I can't see Monti being there if this continues.

The #AZCardinals have some pressing issues in their passing defense:

Things are getting bizarre with the Red Wings:

On paper, it was hard to ask for a more favorable matchup. At this point, I have no words. That was bad...
