Prayer to Our Lady, Undoer of Knots
Heavenly Father,
Today I come before You with a heart that feels tangled.
Some knots were tied by fear.
Some by worry.
Some by mistakes I've made.
Some by pain I never asked for.
And some... I don't even know how they got there.
Blessed Mother, Our Lady, Undoer of Knots, I ask you to gently take these burdens into your loving hands.
Untie every knot that keeps me from trusting God completely.
Untie the knot of anxiety that steals my peace.
Untie the knot of resentment that weighs down my heart.
Untie the knot of financial worry, broken relationships, unanswered prayers, illness, and discouragement.
Where I see no way forward, help me believe that God is already preparing one.
Where I have become impatient, teach me to wait with faith.
Where I have lost hope, remind me that nothing is impossible for God.
Mother Mary, wrap your mantle around every person reading this prayer today.
Comfort the weary.
Strengthen the discouraged.
Bring healing to the sick.
Restore families.
Open doors that only God can open.
And gently untie every knot that keeps us from living in His peace.
Jesus, I place my life into Your hands.
I trust that even when I cannot see what You are doing, You are working for my good.
Our Lady, Undoer of Knots,
Pray for us.
Amen. 🙏
On St Junipero Serra Feast Day, I prayed for you, your personal intentions and world peace at St Anthony's Tomb. I'll remember you again during the Holy Mass I'll celebrate at 9:30 am. Blessings to you and your loved ones from St Anthony's Basilica 🤗
The First Martyrs of Rome were Christians martyred during Emperor Nero’s persecution after the Great Fire of Rome in AD 64. Though mostly unnamed, their courageous faith helped lay the foundations of the early Church and continues to inspire believers today.
When storms shake our lives, Jesus may seem silent, but he is never absent. Trust grows not in calm waters, but in the courage to believe that Christ is with us, bringing peace beyond every fear.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is one of the most powerful practices in our Catholic faith.
Here are three heartfelt prayers composed by great saints to help you enter into deeper communion with Our Lord Jesus Christ truly present in the Eucharist.
🔸 St. Thomas Aquinas (from his famous prayer after Communion / Adoro Te Devote spirit)
"Lord Jesus Christ, I firmly believe that You are present in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Come into my heart, O Lord, and never let me be separated from You."
🔸 St. Alphonsus Liguori (from Visits to the Blessed Sacrament)
"My Lord Jesus Christ, who, for the love You bear to mankind, remain night and day in this Sacrament, full of pity and love, awaiting, calling, and welcoming all who come to visit You, I believe that You are present in the Sacrament of the Altar. From the abyss of my nothingness, I adore You. I thank You for all the graces You have given me, and especially for having given me Yourself in this Sacrament... My Jesus, I love You with my whole heart. I am sorry for having so many times offended Your infinite goodness. I resolve by the help of Your grace never more to offend You, and to love You with all my heart while I live."
🔸 St. Padre Pio (a short, powerful prayer he loved)
"Stay with me, Lord, for it is necessary to have You present so that I do not forget You. You know how easily I abandon You. Stay with me, Lord, because I am weak and I need Your strength. Stay with me, Jesus, for I desire to love You very much and always be in Your company."

St. Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer (1902–1975) was a Spanish priest who founded Opus Dei, teaching that everyone is called to holiness through ordinary work, family life, and daily duties. He was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2002.
Prayer to the Immaculate Conception for Desperate Needs
Immaculate Conception, pure and holy Mother,
please pray for us.
We come with real needs today.
Needs we cannot pretend away.
Needs that keep us awake, make us afraid, and remind us how much we need God.
Pray for the family that is struggling to stay together.
Pray for the mother who is tired.
Pray for the father who does not know how he will provide.
Pray for the person waiting for healing.
Pray for the one carrying anxiety, grief, loneliness, or fear in silence.
Immaculate Mother, pray for homes under pressure,
marriages in pain, children in danger,
bills that cannot be paid, bodies that need strength,
and hearts that are close to breaking.
Ask Jesus to bring help where there is need,
peace where there is fear,
healing where there is suffering,
and hope where the soul feels worn down.
Mother Mary, keep us close to your Son.
Do not let us lose faith in the middle of hardship.
Do not let despair speak louder than God’s mercy.
Cover our families with your prayers.
Lead us away from sin, confusion, and anything that separates us from Jesus.
Immaculate Conception, pray for us in the needs that are too heavy to carry alone.
Amen.
