Join California physicians and vote YES on Prop 35. This initiative will secure dedicated funding for Medi-Cal to protect and expand patient access to health care - all without raising taxes.
Over 1,500 flights canceled as major winter storm threatens to produce historic snowfall https://t.co/PRT4qfEFZ0 ews/us-news/parts-northern-us-shut-major-winter-storm-threatens-historic-snowfall-rcna71721 via @nbcnews
@CMAdocs This is a huge issue. My wife, Medicare eligible when we relocated, can't get a pelvic exam done, because no GYNs will accept a new Medicare patient due to poor reimbursement for needed exam! Her new endocrinologist just went concierge and won't honor scheduled follow up exam!
You will be missed, @DrPanMD! "If Dr. Pan has indeed earned the title of vaccine hero now, as Time magazine named him, he got there because of what he learned in community health centers about standing up for people who couldn’t speak for themselves." https://t.co/Yp87DbxTAA
Off to DC today to tell Congress I can’t think of a worse time to subject America’s physicians to an 8.4% Medicare cut — after doctors have helped our nation through almost 3 years of pandemic and are now dealing with soaring practice costs due to inflation. @AmerMedicalAssn
@NurielMoghavem @CMAdocs@tajayiMD Truly one of the highlights of my career and life, with hopes that I have helped contribute to the future leadership of CMA and the future of healthcare access and quality by working with these dedicated young professionals
These latest acts of violence targeting physicians underscore the escalating threat of violence that healthcare workers face recently. We are heartbroken and resolved to stand in solidarity with our colleagues who have dedicated their lives to saving the lives of others.
@NurielMoghavem Could be an interesting battle, with residents able to unionize as employees, and possible precedent sparking a revolution for residency/fellowship programs. Maybe take us back to a battle nearly 3 decades ago to exempt practicing physicians from some antitrust restrictions
An incredibly hard working, knowledgeable team that I have had the great pleasure of working with, and having had work for me and my practice several times, to not only recover payments wrongly denied, but to change the system in which we practice.
In 2021, CMA's Center for Economic Services recovered nearly $3.2 million from payors on behalf of physician members - $ that likely would have stayed with insurers if not for CMA’s direct intervention. Over 13 years, CMA has recouped over $33 million! https://t.co/m8smL0bcof
While only a single clinic's experience with APPs, this report highlights risks and costs of independent APP practice both PCP and specialty, points out better paradigm of physician led teams with APPs. Legislators/regulators need to pay attention! https://t.co/bCi9oDMQSk
@PBCares cares so much that they don't even respond to complaints beyond starting to follow the tweeter! Still no 24 hour callback 36 hours later. Should I start posting the names and ID numbers of the (?offshore) customer service agents who lie to me and the case numbers?
@PitneyBowes has the absolutely worst customer service, incompetent and lacking follow up. Trying to resolve an issue for contract termination for months, multiple calls and promises of call backs and correction that never occur! Must I sue to get attention?
@PBCares and @PitneyBowes: for second time, promised callback within 24 hours from supervisor regarding contract termination issue has not occurred! Shall I start naming the call center folks who made such promises, after unable to find supervisors while I held for over 30 mins?
