Electricity prices up?
Activists blame data centers, but that’s ignorant, says @paigelambermont.
"More data centers are in northern VA than anywhere else. Prices in Virginia are rising more slowly than they are some other places."
Here's the real reason for high prices:
California banned dog sales in pet stores.
The goal: Stop puppy mills. Did it work?
No. Instead, online pet scams went UP.
Puppy prohibition is a failure.
Stossel TV's president @mikedricci discovered NY's version when he tried to buy a dog:
The “kill switch” bill effectively turns your car into judge, jury, and executioner.
Imagine fleeing from an attacker. Your heart is pounding, your breathing is heavy, your adrenaline is surging, and your pupils are dilated. A government-mandated system could interpret that as impairment and disable your vehicle in real time.
These are real-world situations where automated monitoring systems could make life-changing decisions for you.
This legislation opens the door to further surveillance and monitoring of citizens, shifting driving from a basic freedom into something controlled and conditional. It's the framework of a real-time social credit system being introduced into everyday American life.
I break this down with Clayton and Natali Morris on @RedactedNews
There’s nobody in Congress more faithful to the Constitution than @MassieforKY. He stands against wasteful spending, runaway debt, and government overreach no matter which party is pushing it. Kentucky would be making a mistake by letting him go. @realDailyWire
Kids from @SuccessCharters schools rank #1 in their state in math.
Why do these brown and black students do so well?
Because their school innovates in ways government-run schools don’t.
"When we started @TheSavBananas we only sold two tickets in our first three months..
We've played in front of 3.4 million fans this year and 102,000 on Saturday" ~ @YellowTuxJesse#PMSLive
🚨 Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry just went full savage, and I agree!
After the latest mall shooting, he torched soft judges and the parents raising garbage kids!
“We should put ‘em away for life. I’m done with ‘em.”
“It doesn’t matter how old they are, somebody failed. It’s not the government’s job to raise these people.”
No more excuses. No more revolving door prisons.
Parents, raise your damn kids. Or society will.
Bill Gates is eviler than evil. Listen to this woman as she explains his land grab in the name of “climate change.” Gates is no philanthropist, existing to kill us.
Bill Maher: “Last week was tax day… I paid the government probably almost 60% of what I earn. That’s a lot. And I wouldn’t mind if Bernie Sanders would stop saying the rich don’t pay taxes.”
5 years ago, I investigated Dallas politicians’ attack on a local car wash.
Turns out some of the politicians who shut him down were caught in corruption scandals: conspiracy, fraud…
What’s happened to the car wash? Here’s an update:
Trump is now telling MAGA that we should agree to give up our rights for the greater good.
He wants us to agree to allow the federal government to spy on us via FISA.
Anyone still supporting this man is a fraud. He has done a full 180 on MAGA and is a Warhawk neocon.
We bring in $5 trillion. We spend $7 trillion. We borrow the difference. The Fed prints money to cover it.
That's inflation. And inflation is making you poorer.
What we really should aspire to in this 250th year of our nation is a government that stops asking how much restriction on our liberties it can get away with and instead asks how it can protect and promote our all our rights, including our right to keep and bear arms.
Even though this is from an older podcast, Jimmy Carr’s take still hits different:
“The Roman Empire didn’t fall. It became the Church.”
And the British Empire? According to Jimmy, it didn’t collapse either — it simply turned into a bank.
We handed the colonies back with a polite “sorry about that,” then offered to “hold” all their money safely in the City of London.
Roman Empire → Vatican
British Empire → Global financial hub
Empires don’t die. They just rebrand.
Still one of the most provocatively entertaining history takes I’ve heard.
What’s your favourite “history didn’t end, it just changed form” observation?
