it was great weather in Ohio for a Labor Day weekend 25 "night" miler. a disadvantage of being a senior citizen: the eyes do not see at well at night on trails. And an advantage: chances of an age win are 92%. and 100% if you are the only over 60 to toe the line

dry socks? if you are in the midst of an ultra race > 100 miles and it is raining, and will continue to rain...what is the point of a sock change? your feet will just be wet again?
