I can't access Instagram, I don't know when I will be able to next time, I made a Facebook page in the meantime. if you are interested.
Rest In Peace, the legendary Julian Sands. What an absolutely amazing career he had. Looks like in the future I'll be seeing how many of his films I can watch, again. I'm a massive fan of him, and have been for many, many years. One of my most favourite actors of all time.
“He was such a terrific storyteller, Jules, and so, so funny. Since the day we met, I could talk to him about anything, and he could talk to me about anything…”

@NoContextBrits Not sure if he's British but I met Julian Sands when he came to my town for Alien festival. He took his shirt off in front of me and didn't wear deodorant
A friend of mine met Julian Sands at a convention a few years ago and bonded over mutual passion for Percy Shelley. They kinda became pen pals and he'd even invite them to shows. It was amazing to witness an actor of that calibre geek out over something. I really hope he's safe.
Met Julian Sands at a bar after a horror convention. We watched Adventure Time on the tv and he ordered a "Spicy ta-mah-to juice" and that was my personal experience with him. A very british moment in central PA.
@GailSimone This whole thread is amazing!
I once met Julian Sands, my teenage crush. Ex-BF knew him from work, & invited me to a lecture Sands would be attending. When introduced, he said "Very nice to meet you" & shook my hand. Me: "Thank you. 🤩" Ex rightfully gave me shit for years.
Once met Julian Sands while hosting a reading for his wife Evgenia’s (very good) novel. He sat front row, was very quiet, and started helping put the store back in order afterward without being asked. It was a really gentle moment that I’ll always remember. RIP.
Yesterday, I had the honour to be part of the first #HastingsLitFest for their #OpeningCeremony. The event consisted of a talk by the #Patron and playwright, Sir David Hare, & poetry performed by actor, Julian Sands. This is a really exciting Festival which will continue to grow.
8th and 9th March 2019. Julian Sands returns Keats_Shelley to read his favourite poems by Keats and Shelley. A reception follows each reading. Booking is essential: https://t.co/b0m6CjIdex https://t.co/bfP5ZdRo3L
After John Malkovich's surprise visit @Keats_Shelley to hear Julian Sands' latest Keats and Shelley poetry reading, we have been researching our 'celebrity' visitors to the House. We will post some during the week.
#JulianSands heroically explaining to Helena Bonham Carter that she actually loves him (and not the foppish Daniel Day Lewis). And it works. Unrequited love --> Requited.
RIP to a real one.
