As a Catholic, I support mass deportations—despite the USCCB’s non-binding pastoral guidance. Here’s why:
1. God ordains distinct nations (sovereignty & solidarity).
2. Authority exists for the common good of each.
3. The common good demands ordered love (subsidiarity) and prudence.
4. Justice and rule of law require it.
With millions here illegally, strict borders and mass deportation aren’t optional—they’re moral imperatives.
@sstuhia King Ghidorah isn’t a dragon in most versions, it’s an alien. There’s no dragon blood allowing a bond.
The closest to a ASOIAF dragon was GMK Ghidorah, an ancient Earth deity. Or the Heisei Ghidorah which was basically futuristic blood magic mutating the dorats into a hydra.
@GutokuEijin I saw a post once that said people like Epcot at Disneyworld because it’s like going on vacation abroad but without dealing with any of the people
@nfsworldfan100@iheilhoppe “Parent” is a word dated to the Middle Ages. It comes from Latin “to bring forth”. Your parents’ job is bring you up in this world through to adulthood and into society.
A “godparent” brings you up in religion for example to be a good Christian.
How this is woke is beyond me.
@StatisticUrban Something similar happened in the 30s in Germany, when LGBTQ rights were cracked down on due to propaganda from the Nazis. Project 2025 outlined this strategy, and they’re using it.
Reversing the trend requires removing those in power who continue to demonize our existence.
One of the cool things about being a Buddhist is that it makes literally zero difference if the Buddha actually existed or not.
Even the problem of what exactly he said is not a big deal to a real practitioner, imo.
If you see the Dharma, you see the Buddha, and vice versa.
