@RobLMyers More about the FIA & F1 than Max at this point. Hope all can listen to Andrea Stella’s comments today & the few voices over the last few years with the backbone to foreshadow this erratic driving reemerging precisely when a little competition emerged
I’ve never endorsed a presidential candidate before. But this year’s election stands to be so enormously consequential for women and families that, this time, I can’t stay quiet.
Women deserve a leader who cares about the issues they face and is committed to protecting their safety, their health, their economic power, their reproductive rights, and their ability to freely and fully participate in a functioning democracy. In this election, the contrast couldn’t be greater, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
I will be voting for President Biden.

@premystic Thank goodness Mother Nature brings some excitement to F1 these days as otherwise Max & the dominant Red Bull would be laps ahead. The gymnastics required to suggest Checo or other drivers can compete wMax is laughable. Plus, the FIA are always eager to lend Max a hand
@GayCars@maxvcalloway@LaureusSport@fia@F1@SkySportsF1 At least the race officials didn’t make up new rules to ignore these unsporting actions or issue an insignificant slap on the wrist penalty. They maintained sporting integrity & disqualified the driver. I suspect the same wld apply for a blatant brake check…asking for a friend.
@MikeDMarler@f1lmer@fia You’re spot - no way fans & teams will agree on all decisions, even those that are 💯 correct
There are way too many arbitrary FIA decisions & basic errors being made that don’t instill confidence that they’re fair & competent. Happened b4 AD 2021 & has continued since
@MikeDMarler@f1lmer@fia F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport, but the FIA is mkg a mockery of F1 & hasn’t governed anywhere near the pinnacle. This is hurting the sport.
I think the FIA’s changes are cosmetic, but hope ur right that they’ll listen, improve & restore sporting integrity
@MikeDMarler@f1lmer@fia Defn my opinion, but one shared by nearly all - the FIA has had issues & has had several high profile blunders. Can’t be perfect, but at least avoid tarnishing F1.
Some sports allow challenges to go to the Intl Council for the Arbitration for Sport:

@MikeDMarler@f1lmer@fia FIA is turning a blind eye as nothing wld hv happened w/o AMs protest. Equitable enforcement of the rules is clearly not happening. I’m not sure FIA leadership is capable of being consistent & unbiased - what happens w no independent oversight to create accountability
Red Bull trying to obscure their dominance & make the race look “competitive” w a last minute pit stop for fastest lap & Checo charging through the field from the back. RBR cld have won by over 30 seconds. So much for close racing #formula1#AustrianGP
@ericbahn He had a great pole lap in Monaco. Adrian Newey is even better tho as his genius made the Red Bull so dominant that their drivers can literally coast through races if they don’t make mistakes in quali or the race
@Dave__Gilbert If the CPA firm is advising on deal, then ur offer can prob b shared w them. If the CPA firm is also bidding, that’s an obv conflict of interest. If you’ve shown value w the partner, I’d hv a 1-on-1 w founders to see if they’re serious about your offer & if you can get to a close
Stopped to thank these Street Crisis Response Team members after watching them help a homeless guy in crisis on Geary this morning. Their level of dignity and care was outstanding and worthy of praise. Asked the team what they need to have a bigger impact and they immediately replied:
1: more shelter beds.
2: means to compel people who refuse help into help
3. Streamlined access to services (they are way too disjointed and uncoordinated)
4. Stopping/Interrupting the drug conditions in the city.
….straight from the mouths of those who are out there doing the real work to help people.
@MrNickKnowles@SkySportsF1@johnnyherbertf1 No matter who you support in F1, AD 2021 was an awful display. Anyone who is a true sportsman could see the title was gifted to RB & Max. An even bigger shame is, if F1 had waited a year, the change in reg’s gave RB a better car & Max & RB won their world title anyway.
@GayCars@fia Would the results of the independent review process be binding? If not, it would only confirm what the entire world witnessed and all but Red Bull fans and the FIA know to be true - Sir Lewis Hamilton was robbed of his 8th WDC
@thanos876 RB wld still be fighting if #AD2021 happened to Max. They scream even when in the wrong! Toto & MB wld fight more if it was their constructor’s $ on the line. They left SLH out to dry. F1 integrity won’t come from the FIA - needs to come from Liberty, sponsors, fans & promoters
@GayCars No need for those reminders as we get reminders every race weekend of how lax and ineffective the FIA’s “penalties” were as Red Bull easily dominates the entire F1 field. It’s not even close. I guess it pays to cheat, I mean indulge with the catering expense
