@thedavidpowell There already are papers claiming to do this! I remember reading the term “meso” or “mesoeconomics” for a study using micro data at across countries (e.g. nightlight or market access data across the African continent)

@ash_craig I actually just learnt yesterday that many coffee shops’ cup sizes are a function of espresso shots. For some reason, I wasn’t expecting a large cappuccino to have a whopping 3 espresso shots… 😵‍💫 maybe that’s what the person was ordering
