@KillSchott They tried to save it but it just wasn't feasible. Hardest part was that he had a sort of cast on it to let it heal. He kept firing that thing off no matter what. But every time he went to get a new one on, he came back with a cool new colour printed cast.

He's deaf. He followed my ex into the basement while she was doing laundry and she closed the door on his tail, partially severing it. It used to be more than twice that long. Obviously he lost it, but he continues to have a fun filled life with his little nub.

@toddveinotte regarding the health care workers; not everyone works a 40hr work week... 37.5 is my work week, on average.
$41x1950 (37.5/wk) is just under 80k...
