@ForCommander @ManaCurves It's because the effect of giving the effect auras, counters, and equipment don't technically work within the rules of Magic as written.

Put a Hyena Umbra on this and see what happens. The rules don't handle these cases.

@ghirapurigears @cobblepott__ If the most colors a partner pairing had access to were 2, I don't think it would be an issue (Commander Legends). The original partners will probably be the strongest commanders ever printed forever and terrifying mistakes.
