Red Velvet's Yeri and Seulgi talk about their car accident in 2016, which was reported as "minor" at the time:

Yeri: "We got into a taxi accident, I was actually quite injured."

Seulgi: "Fortunately, I wasn't seriously hurt, but when I looked to the side, I saw Yeri bleeding."

Yeri: "I was actually hospitalized and received treatment for a very long time. Since the accident happened while turning a curve on my side, the driver and Seulgi weren't hit that hard, but I was thrown forward. We've had a bit of car trauma ever since. The white of my eye was completely red and burst, and my eyeball was sunken in a bit. I agonized over whether or not to have surgery for a very minor issue, but I decided against it and am just living with it now.

I think it was somewhere in between the Russian Roulette activities or something. The news came out saying it was a minor accident, but I was actually seriously injured when it wasn't minor at all."
