We are delighted to announce that, our manager Ennio Gonnella has agreed to lead our assault on the Isthmian Premier League for the 26/27 season.

Since joining us three seasons ago, “Don Ennio” has overseen back to back to back promotions and an FA Vase Final in a club that, was only formed in 2021!

Ennio has been a key contributor to the Whyteleafe story since joining us, a new chapter begins this forthcoming season.

And, arguably a season defining weekend of football awaits us as, Saturday we face Margate FC and then Monday, we make the short trip to Croydon Athletic as 2nd plays 3rd in a potential title/playoffs position battle.

“The Gate” come to us on a great run, 5 consecutive wins including, a 2-0 defeat of League leaders Three Bridges FC. This run has elevated them to within touching distance of the play offs, a win is essential for them to keep the pressure on.

The Leafe are flying, unbeaten since 10th Jan with 3 draws and 9 victories (8 consecutive), we’re still in the fight for the title (albeit an outside chance) and will look to end the season as high as possible (hoping for home advantage in the playoffs).

The boys have been doing the business on the pitch, now we ask you (the Leafe Army) to do the business off it. This time last year you turned up in your numbers to roar the boys on to Wembley, now we ask you to, turn up once again and roar the boys on to an historic promotion attempt.
