@nkasperek19 Yeah me too! That scene with Malcolm X and King's wife made me realize that even if you're fighting for the same cause, you could have totally different beliefs that could make you turn on one another.
@__vx2000__ I agree, even though the president was trying to help, he also cared about what the white southerners might think. He wanted to keep them happy too, but change was already upon them and you can't have the best of both worlds.
The first nonviolent march in Salema was to the courthouse. It turned south when the white sheriff of the town became too aggressive with a black man and my girl Oprah stepped in and helped! Still, the event made the front page gaining attention to the cause. #MESelma18
Even though segregation was illegal in Alabama at this time, the town of Selma didn't care. The Social Justice system was still corrupt and was controlled by all whites.

Register to vote is a pretty easy process. However during segregation this process was a drag for blacks. Most of the time they were denied just for being black...

Bottom line, coming to America there will be hardships, and there will be some nativism. However learning to ignore fixed minded people, embrace the opportunities, and diversity making America, America. #MEAmericanTail17
Success for the mice! The victory againt the cats gives the mice hope of a better life in America. N.Y.C is heavily diverse, now with the cats gone there's no fear of embracing their differences. #MEAmericanTail17
Fievel and Tiger became a duo! So sweet and cute! Even though they're from two totally different groups, both realize they're one in the same.

To the foreign mice that believe America has no cats, there are roughly 74 million cats in America.

@Merj_10 Yes! Baldwin a white lawyer took on the case know he would get hate for it. It was a very debating case whether the slaves should be freed or be given back to Cuba. #MEAmistad17
Words can't even begin to describe how cruelly the slaves were being treated on the Amistad. And that was only one slave ship...ππ’π€ #MEAmistad17
Two dirfferent worlds collide...one ship sailing for freedom and the other ship enjoying a night full of music and an elegant boat dinner. #cheers#MEAmistad17
