I will never forget the day I was forced to my knees when an Israeli soldier struck me on the back with the butt of her rifle. I will never forget her words: ‘Move faster, you human dogs.’
I will never forget when they bombed the house on my friend’s family just five minutes after I had left. One more conversation with him would have been the distance between me and death.
I will never forget the child, Walid, when he met his friend Saad and the very first thing he said upon seeing him was: ‘My father, my mother, and all my siblings have been martyred.’
I will never forget how a human hand was torn away and struck my face, and how blood covered my body.
All these memories pass through my mind every night before I fall asleep.
I will never forget.
I've watched hundreds of hours of Gaza videos in the last 2 years, including content filmed by our brave teams inside the strip, and can confirm that the "dead Gaza baby" images are quite real, not the product of a "disinformation campaign" and that there is nothing funny about them.
My cousin was not a celebrity but everyone who cares about us in Gaza, in Palestine, needs to know his name, their names.
His name is Abdallah Talal Abu Toha.
His body remains in the street after he was killed in an air strike.
He was a father of two children (2 years old and 6 months old)
He was born in the same refugee camp as me. He was killed after surviving for 729 in the camp.
He was not a celebrity. He did not have millions of followers.
But he has a name. He has a face. And everyone needs to learn his name, see his face.
Everyone must know our names, see our faces.
This is the new generation of Palestinian babies for those lucky enough to survive in Gaza. This is due to the poisonous gas pregnant women are exposed to in this case in Khan Younis. This is what we used to read about during world wars and yet here we are witnessing even darker crimes.
Same guy, two interviews. In the first, he is a fragile Jewish student, who feels unsafe on campus, because everything is antisemitic and everyone is plotting a second Holocaust. In the second, he is Goliath, raining death on unarmed Palestinians from a safe distance.
For those who "it can't be genocide as the Palestinian population is growing".
Gaza has had the largest drop in life expectancy of any places on earth in modern history:
This was Anas on the day of his wedding.
Anas Al-Sharif, for 28 years of his life, lived under a brutal occupation whose only mission was to kill more Palestinians and steal more Palestinian land.
For 673 days, he starved with his people as he reported on limbless and bloody dead children, night and day. He ran towards, not away from, airstrikes so he could report firsthand on the destruction and loss of life, in an attempt to wake the world from its slumber. Al Jazeera, his employer, even gave him a chance to be evacuated out of Gaza early on, but he refused. He told them he would rather die in his own land before he ever leaves it. When the ‘ceasefire’ (the one which Israel broke over 900 times) happened months ago, all of Gaza was running to Anas, to hug him, to kiss his forehead, to thank him for telling the world about what they endured.
What an honorable and beautiful human. Not only did he wake up millions of people to the ugliness of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine, he woke up millions to the capitalistic, colonizer-driven, greedy, and evil world we’re all tricked into accepting.
He died telling the truth. Western journalists live to tell lies. We saw more of their lies as they tried to smear his righteous and virtuous name to try and justify his murder.
Palestine is bigger than just Palestine. Palestine is for every person who believes in freedom. In equal rights. In liberty. Not the terms the west throws around as they continue to murder children en masse and the same nations that paraded children in human zoos only decades ago. True freedom, true equal rights, and true liberty.
Imagine justice and peace.
Now continue fighting for it.
Anas’s death will not be in vain. Glory be to the martyrs. Free Palestine. Free us all.
This is my will and my final message.
If my words reach you, know that Israel has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice.
First, peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.
God knows that I have given all my effort and strength to be a support and a voice for my people since I opened my eyes to life in the alleys and streets of Jabalia refugee camp. My hope was that God would grant me life to return with my family and loved ones to our original town of Ashkelon (Al-Majdal), occupied land. But God’s will was swifter, and His decree is binding.
I lived pain in all its details, tasted grief and loss repeatedly, yet I never hesitated to convey the truth as it is—without distortion or falsification—hoping God would bear witness against those who remained silent, those who accepted our killing, those who besieged our breaths, and whose hearts were not moved by the shattered bodies of our children and women, nor did they stop the massacre our people have faced for more than a year and a half.
I entrust you with Palestine, the jewel of the Muslim world and the pulse of every free heart in this world.
I entrust you with its people, with its innocent children who were not granted the time to dream or live in safety and peace.
Their pure bodies were crushed under thousands of tons of Israeli bombs and missiles, torn apart, their remains scattered on the walls.
I urge you not to let chains silence you, nor borders restrain you. Be bridges toward liberating the land and the people until the sun of dignity and freedom rises over our stolen homeland.
I entrust you with my family.
I entrust you with the apple of my eye, my beloved daughter, Sham, whom fate did not allow me to see grow as I dreamed.
I entrust you with my dear son, Salah, whom I wished to support and accompany until he grew strong, carrying my burden and continuing the mission.
I entrust you with my beloved mother, whose prayers were the reason I reached where I did. Her supplications were my fortress, and her light my path.
I pray God to ease her heart and reward her abundantly on my behalf.
I also entrust you with my lifelong companion, my beloved wife, Umm Salah Bayan, from whom war separated us for long days and months, but who remained faithful, steadfast like an olive tree trunk that never bends, patient and devout, carrying the trust in my absence with strength and faith.
I urge you to gather around them and be their support after God Almighty.
If I die, I die steadfast on my principles, bearing witness to God that I am satisfied with His decree, believing in meeting Him, and certain that what is with God is better and everlasting.
O God, accept me among the martyrs, forgive my past and future sins, and make my blood a light that illuminates the path to freedom for my people and family.
Forgive me if I fell short, and pray for me mercy, for I have remained true to the covenant, never changing or betraying it.
Do not forget Gaza…
And do not forget me in your good prayers for forgiveness and acceptance.

This is what Anas ordered to be published upon his martyrdom.
Today, 10-year-old Nour Abu Selah died of severe malnutrition caused by the Israeli blockade on Gaza. Starved to death—another victim of a slow genocide. How many more children must die before this war ends and the siege is lifted?!
My baby Ali is wearing a plastic bag instead of a diaper.
Yes, this isn’t an exaggeration — it’s the heartbreaking reality we are living today.
My son Ali, who just turned one month old… his skin is as delicate as paper, his cries more precious than anything in the world — today, we were forced to wrap him in a plastic bag instead of a diaper.
Not because we don’t know the risks, but because we simply cannot afford a real one.
The price of a pack of diapers has reached $500, an amount far beyond our means.
Not because we don’t want to provide for him — but because we can barely afford food.
Today, I watched my wife cry in silence as she tried to protect our newborn with what little we had.
It broke me. I’ve never felt so helpless — like I’m failing my own son, who lies in my arms, innocent and fragile.
I fear for him… from rashes, infections, suffocation — things his tiny body cannot bear.
I write this with my heart in pieces, hoping that somewhere out there, someone’s heart is open.
Even the smallest donation for baby Ali could protect him from pain, from illness… and perhaps from something far worse.

you care about Gaza, talk about the famine. People are dying from hunger. There is no flour, no milk for babies, no food for children. I spent the entire day searching for something to feed my family and found nothing. Hunger is not a feeling, it is a slow death. It has become worse than fear. I hate talking now because it feels pointless, but maybe someone out there will finally listen
Praise be to Allah who honored me today as I got engaged to the girl who will be my partner in both ease and hardship.
Despite all the pain we are going through, hope always breaks through sorrow to bring light once again.
I feel deeply ashamed in the face of the martyrs’ blood, yet life will go on. We will remain on this land, we will have children, and we will teach them to love their homeland — for this land has room only for us.
Alhamdulillah, always.
There has never been such clear footage of how Israeli snipers deliberately shooting civilians for fun like this, the guy was just sitting idle and streaming
