Also Leaflit is a lil too 2D-pilled to recognize this, but vtubers have been fighting the "There are no girls on the internet" constantly all the time for their entire existence. Your average vtuber is banking heavily on parasocial feelings and desires towards her, which relies on her audience sincerely believing she's a real woman. It's why so many of them fleshpost. Even for Strawb or Maria Grace who are married, they still draw a lot of their credibility for the things they comment on from their position as an actual wife or mother.

Not to mention that obviously there's a vast gap between pretending with an avatar on stream and how you act around your friends. The second Ember says anything about being a woman to a fellow vtuber, that's immediately deceptive towards people who are extending trust.
