Absolute dog of a pitch at Lords. Just needs two inch thick crease markings and “Eng NZ Thu” daubed on one of the ends to complete the council maintained second ground look.
@trottofficial@meatmansoccer Need context. If he’s a club middle order bat in a strong side that’s been promoted, it could be that he’s a metronome during mid/latter overs and has been for years. Either way, keeps the dream alive!
Keown and co trying to comfort themselves here but they’re wrong. Really limited side who’ve had everything in their favour this year. Will never happen again. As costly as it gets for Eze and Gabriel. Era defining.
European cups aren’t for everyone. Absolute hammer blow for Arsenal given the luck they’ve had with the draw and 10+ key decisions this year. Won’t get a better chance.
It used to feel like United got a lot of decisions back when they were successful, but never anything like this. How can they just leave it as it is when it’s clearly had such a massive impact on the outcome of the season?!
Arsenal and Chelsea were the teams who benefitted most from VAR errors this season according to data from the Premier League’s key match incidents (KMI) panel.
The Ferguson/Guardiola debate is a bit mad. Ferguson unequivocally the most successful. You can’t pro-rata it down because the longevity and span of different eras is part of it. Guardiola though has without doubt had the biggest influence on how the game is played globally.
One small positive to take from this season is that, as bad as our collapse has been, we’ve avoided coming 14th or 15th and got a basis for next season. Tough watch from the start though!
@DazzaDavies That Centre Forward scored with his hand to beat us for a start. Doesn’t matter though as both got exactly the same out of the season anyway.
