Not rooting for either 🇪🇬 or 🇦🇷 so neutral observer here..
1. Even after the replay, this is not a foul IMO. Sure the defender stepped on the foot, happens regularly and shouldn’t always be called.
2. VAR can be used for buildup of a goal, but rules also say VAR is for ‘clear and obvious errors’. This wasn’t an obvious error and I think the ref had a pretty decent original interpretation of the situation.
3. Perhaps most interestingly, should we consider this happening “during the buildup of the goal”? The incident happens during the attack of 🇦🇷 in the far corner of the pitch. The supposed foul stops the 🇦🇷 attack and starts the buildup for the 🇪🇬 goal, with still many 🇦🇷 players who can cover for the “fouled” player. So the alleged foul IMO does not in fact impact the buildup, but immediately before it. Yet with so many players to cover, I think the two should be decoupled…
4. In the end, this could’ve been 0-2 with no guarantee they would still score the additional goal and 🇪🇬 could still have given up the lead.
VAR is just making too many controversial calls for the benefit it brings
Thanks for the reply, that clears things up! Had a hunch that this targeted net new users (for whom this UX flow is great indeed).
Wasn't sure if these were actual RWA vaults you deposit into (and could add future strategies), but seems like it's just UX orchestration to obtain spot RWA :)
💯 agree on the education part, there's a lot to learn there and so much happening on @solana rn
I understand your concern, but do you know about Sui's object model? Simple transfers already are cheap to process (and low margin for validator fees) because they are owned objects that don't require consensus in Sui's model
Only interaction with shared objects require consensus and resulting fees. So while there might be some diluting effect, it should be minor and arguably an acceptable trade-off if this indeed makes adoption skyrocket...
@Toby__Lewis@0xWara It does solves quite a few devX and UX problems, has a differentiated developer stack (Walrus, Seal, Nautilus)…
But granted, still lacking killer app that really leverages all those
@MMTFinance@Official_NODO Why no official comms from @Official_NODO ? 🤔
Was looking into these vaults last week when grok told me all’s well and operational lol
@VeraApp_@SuiNetwork@bluefinapp@privy_io Looks really clean, but seems like it doesn't support zkLogin? So might still be trapped in Slush for now as I won't be migrating all DeFi positions
Meet USDnr and Nerona
USDnr is Fluent’s native stablecoin:

→ Structured as another core source of protocol revenue for the chain
Nerona is the private-bank-like experience built on USDnr, designed for high-net-worth users
Pre-deposit campaign coming soon.
Being able to form global communities is an absolute strength of Web3 but, we should appreciate meeting community members IRL 🤝
Had a great time getting to know @ollstar41 and keeping an eye out what you'll be cooking in the @fluent_eco 👀
How I met @fluentxyz team member at @ETHWarsaw 🇵🇱👀
On August 26th I was scrolling my fyp on X and saw a post from Fluent DevRel @tmsdkeys saying he'd be at ETHWarsaw on Sep 4–5. After seeing that, I decided to go too.
ETHWarsaw🏙️ was actually my first big Web3 event (even though it wasn't that huge). I really liked the vibes there and enjoyed talking with different people about Web3 and other stuff.
I met Thomas IRL on the first day during the lunch break. He is a really nice guy, we talked a lot about Fluent and our experiences in general.
Since I had just joined Fluent about a month ago, it was a real surprise for me to meet someone from the @BlendedBldrs community so soon.
We also tried to visit the side event 🚢 "Ship or Sink" from @SuperteamPOL, but there were too many people and we couldn't get in. Instead, we ended up having a really nice walk around Warsaw in the evening.
So Web3 isn't just about tokens or NFTs. It is about connections and networking too. Really looking forward to more meetups and events like this 👊
